Our commitment

Castings and More, LLC is committed to making this website usable for people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as part of building and maintaining the site rather than as a one-time audit, and we review it when we make substantial changes.

The standard we work to

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines are the recognized benchmark for making web content accessible, and they are the standard most commonly referenced in connection with the Americans with Disabilities Act. We measure against them directly rather than relying only on automated tooling.

What we have addressed

The following are in place across the site:

• —Every form field on our contact and RFQ forms has a programmatically associated label, so screen readers announce what each field is for.
• —A skip link at the top of every page lets keyboard users bypass the navigation and go straight to the main content.
• —The site is navigable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element. Menus open on keyboard focus and close on the Escape key.
• —Pages use semantic headings, landmarks, and labelled navigation regions, with a single top-level heading per page.
• —Images carry descriptive alternative text, and decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology so they are not announced as meaningless content.
• —Motion on the site respects the operating system’s reduced-motion setting. If you have that preference enabled, animation and smooth scrolling are turned off.
• —Form errors and file attachments are announced to screen readers rather than only shown visually.

Portions of this site rely on services we do not control, including our analytics provider and the platform that processes form submissions. We are responsible for the pages we build and will address issues within them.
