Privacy Policy
Castings and More, LLC is a sourcing and purchasing partner for industrial components. This policy explains what we collect when you contact us or submit an RFQ, why we collect it, and who else handles it.

Information we collect
We collect information only when you choose to send it to us. We do not buy contact lists, and we do not require an account to use this site.
Contact form. Your name, email address, company, phone number, and whatever you write in the message field.
RFQ form. The same contact details, plus the project information you provide: process, material, quantity, target pricing, certification requirements, and any files you attach, such as drawings, CAD models, or specifications.
Analytics. Standard web analytics data, described below.
How we use it
We use what you submit to respond to your inquiry, prepare a quote, and source your parts. Preparing a quote generally means sharing the technical details of your part with the suppliers in our network who are capable of producing it. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.
Service providers
Two companies process data on our behalf:
- Netlify hosts this website and receives every form submission, including file attachments, before it reaches us.
- Google Analytics tells us how the site is used. It is described in the next section.
Beyond these providers and the suppliers we contact to quote your part, we disclose your information only where the law requires it.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses Google Analytics 4. It sets cookies and collects your approximate location, browser and device type, the pages you visit, how you arrived at the site, and whether you submitted an RFQ. We use this to understand which pages are useful. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
You can block this entirely with Google's opt-out browser add-on, by blocking cookies in your browser settings, or with most ad blockers. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.
Do Not Track
Browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal, but there is no agreed standard for how sites should respond to it. This site does not currently change its behavior in response to that signal. The opt-out methods described above work regardless.
Retention and confidentiality
We keep RFQs, drawings, and correspondence for as long as we are doing business with you and for a reasonable period afterward, since sourcing relationships tend to be long-running and repeat orders reference prior quotes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
We treat the technical information you send as confidential and share it only with suppliers being asked to quote your part. If your project needs a signed NDA in place first, tell us before sending drawings and we will handle that first.
Export-controlled data
Do not upload ITAR- or EAR-controlled technical data through the forms on this site. This site is not an approved channel for controlled information. If your project involves controlled data, contact us first and we will arrange a secure transfer method.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email mike@castingsandmore.com or call 707-648-6001. We will respond within a reasonable period. There is no cost, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
Children
This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date above. Material changes will be summarized here rather than made silently.
